SAND LAKE CEMETERY:

Lake Cemetery (formerly known as the
Smith or Sand Hill Cemetery)
located at Section 31, Sprinkle Rd, south of Nash
avenue (across the street from the Lakeland Reformed
Church at 10442 Sprinkle Rd). The Sand Lake Cemetery
is inactive: no new burials; and largely filled

From the 1929 records of Delmont M. Williams who
transcribed the markers in the Sand Lake Cemetery:
Cemetery located on Sec. 31, Pavilion Township,

Smith's Cemetery, but the name on the original plat
is Sand Lake. There are 15 tiers, numbered
from west to east, the last on the east side is
no. 15. The lots are spaced north and south
on the tiers. See
